Sri Lanka - A Journey Full of Colour, Chaos, and Kindness
We spent our time exploring Sri Lanka’s Southern Province, soaking up the beauty of the south and west coast beaches, wandering the café and boutique-lined streets of historic Galle Fort, and experiencing the vibrant energy of the capital city, Colombo. We even fitted in a couple of cricket matches!
Nothing quite prepares you for Sri Lankan roads — a crazy mix of buses, scooters and the ever-present tuk-tuks, even a cow or two! And yet, it works. Each journey felt like a mini-adventure, Getting from place to place was all part of the fun.
It's an island nation that offers so much; culture, wildlife, beaches, cities and some very tasty food! The countless photos we took could never truly capture the vibrancy of this colourful country — nor the warmth and hospitality of the people we met along the way. Sri Lanka truly struck a chord, leaving behind more than just memories, I sincerely hope I’ll have the chance to return again soon
