Getting around Walt Disney World, Florida
Disney World Florida transportation - not just buses!
They still have the buses that run between all hotels and the parks very frequent and reliable, but often there are other ways of getting about.
If you wish to get away from Magic Kingdom for some peace and quiet take a boat over the lagoon to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The journey itself is very relaxing. There you'll find a tavern with rocking chairs that you can chill out in for a while.... choosing to travel by boat is such a relaxing way to see the resort.
There are boats from Magic Kingdom to the other hotels around the lagoon
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Talking of boats you can take one from Hollywood Studios or Epcot with stops at
Disney’s Board Walk Villas
Disney's Beach Club Villas
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
Disney Springs has boats that go to
Disney's Old Key West Resort
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter
New is the Skyliner cable car that connects EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. Worth a ride just for the views or to visit another hotel for lunch.
So before you jump on the bus remember to check if there is more scenic way to get around from your hotel...
