My name is Dawn and I live in the village of Drayton in Oxfordshire. I became a personal Travel Counsellor because quite simply I take pride in offering the highest level of personalised customer service to my clients.
I have over 30 years’ experience in the travel industry working in all aspects of a travel which includes, corporate, and leisure, including Weddings and Honeymoons.
I have travelled extensively during those 30 years, and as a result am able to share my knowledge and experience to further enhance your holiday. I am so passionate about what I do and adore looking after my client’s individual needs. I look forward to helping you with yours.
I would be delighted to assist you with your travel plans - whether it’s new ideas on holiday destinations, an overnight hotel at the airport or a round the world cruise. As an independent agent I am able to deal with many different suppliers, and will use them to provide you with the very best travel options. I can't say enough to express how grateful I am to Dawn Gascoigne. This trip is not a holiday but a very difficult one to see my dying father for the last time. Since I've been so unwell over the past year, I couldn't do the longhaul trip in one go and my husband and I experienced a huge amount of stress trying to organise it by ourselves. Dawn took all that stress away in an instance and presented us with the perfect trip by the following morning. It was all booked by that evening, and I'm so, so glad I remembered her after past great experiences some years ago. Thank you, Dawn, for everything

Our recent 23 day trip to Italy was the second time, my wife and I have worked with Dawn and Lindsay on international travel. I have since recommended them to family and friends who are now working with them. Both are fantastic, very customer focused and put your interests above their own. Not only was our trip awesome but the arrangements Dawn and Lindsay made with seven hotels, 10 transfer companies and were flawless. Moreover she doesn't limit her help and expertise to the period before travel, she actively monitors one's journey and checks passengers into their flights each step of the journey, which is so helpful when one doesn't always have access to the Internet. Dawn could not have done a more perfect job for us and the level of customer service was first class. After trawling the internet for days 'reasonable' flights we paid three times for flights to SA through a comparison site only to discover these flights were full and should not have been available on-line. Refunds came back within 2-3 days but at over £2K a time - the resulting cash flow problem and blocking of my bank card was a complete hassle from beginning to end. One call to Dawn and she confirmed the flight we were after was full whilst I was on the phone and managed to find suitable alternative flights within a few minuets. Incredible and professional service all round. Dawn came highly recommended by a work colleague and I understand why - we will definitely use her services again.

I have been really impressed in the friendliness, the prompt , effective and efficient quality of service and also the kindness of the travel counsellor that helped me (Dawn). I had never used an agent for the UK and The service really helped us and gave us such a lot of choice, bearing in mind we were trying to book 3 days before going at peak season and the day before our sons wedding so we were barely available to do our part of the booking. Dawn was really understanding and patient.... Well done, fantastic holiday also, just beautiful.

I would have no hesitation recommending Travel Counsellors to anyone wishing to arrange a bespoke holiday, Our counsellor, Dawn Gascoigne, was so helpful and knowledgeable that the whole process was entirely painless.. It was almost as though she was reading our minds, as the itinerary was exactly what we wanted at an affordable price within our anticipated budget. Actually, 10 isn't high enough. I rate her as 15 even on the scale of 1 to ten. One could not have anyone nicer or more helpful to fix one's holiday. Dawn is truly amazing, she takes all the worry and stress away from booking a family holiday. Dawn worked relentlessly to find the perfect holiday that met all our needs this year. It was a challenge this time with a 5 year old and elderly in-laws, but yet again she did it. Nothing is ever too much trouble, she takes her time and worked towards our budget. I don't ever feel rushed or pushed into a decision and I know I take my time! Dawn's wealth of knowledge about the hotels, resorts, flight times, transfers is second to none and I really value this. Dawn provides an excellent service. I really don't believe we could ever find a more efficient, reliable caring and resourceful Travel Counsellor. We have booked many holidays through her and she always takes the time to ensure the holiday meets our needs fully. She has a wealth of knowledge and we trust her judgement as we know it is based on genuine care and concern that we have a wonderful holiday. She will always endeavour to find the answers to questions if she doesn't have the answer to hand. I have personally recommended her to all of my closest friends and some colleagues who in turn have praised her and thanked us for the introduction. I will continue to recommend her as she is brilliant! Her help and support can always be relied on as we discovered when we were stranded in India due to the 'Ash Cloud' a few years ago. Dawn has made booking a special 25th wedding anniversary trip to Rome at the end of August for my husband and I so special by being so helpful and efficient with constant and professional communication and updates, suggesions and recommedations. I asked Dawn to find me a holiday that would be a mix of sun and culture with good food, sea view and a place where I'd be comfortable as a single traveller. She made a number of recommendations and in a few days the break was booked.
However, on the day of travel a large section of the M1 was closed and I arrived too late to board the flight. She was a complete star and liaised with the airport, the hotel and the travel company for me. She then found me another flight for the following day and booked that for me. Although I then had to travel from Birmingham to Gatwick, I lost less than 24 hours of my holiday.
Although it was a stressful situation, her attitude and support made sure that it wasn't a disaster. And she kept in contact with me on a regular basis until she knew I'd arrived at the hotel in Rhodes and then again to ensure all was OK for my journey home. A complete star.

I have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Luxor. Our Travel Counsellor, Dawn Gascoigne, came up trumps once again by recommending and booking us a wonderful hotel – the Steigenberger Nile Palace. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially the pool attendants and the tennis coach who happily made up a four on three occasions on the new rooftop court. We had a room with a Nile view which was spacious and spotlessly clean. We were on a half board basis and thought the food was excellent, particularly the New Year’s Eve spread which had to be seen to be believed! There are also three other good restaurants within the hotel, two which offer half boarders discounts. I liked the hotel layout which encompassed a lovely courtyard area and the pool which overlooked the Nile. The view of the sunset each evening was spectacular especially from when sailing on a felucca, with a delightful waiter serving us canapés and cocktails! Dawn never lets us down with our holiday arrangements – I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone, whatever their requirements or budget.
