Celebrity Beyond Excited! Affordable Luxury – all inclusive cruise 23 -25 April 2022 Celebrity is one of my favourite cruise lines – as they say affordable luxury and it truly is. On the eve of the cruise launch we were invited to have 2 nights on board to sample this wonder of a ship. Ship Facts : 3,260 passengers / 140,000 tons / Entered Service April 2022 Captain Kate Sky Suite Cabin 9215 (299 sq ft) So lucky to be among the first to sample this awesome ship. We did have to conduct a covid test the day before and show a negative result which I found easy to do with Randox at just £12 with delivery – easy to up load and certificate landed on my email/app within minutes of scanning the results. Boarding was effortless – no queues and we were onto the ship and in the buffet restaurant in no time. As usual the food on Celebrity is exceptional. The buffet choice is almost limitless with cooking stations for Italian, Asian, English etc. You are spoilt for choice. I just wish I was on here for longer as no way to sample everything in 2 days. The central hub of the ship is the atrium Martini Bar and I did my best to work through the menu but again not enough time! Entertainment – I would challenge anyone to find more professional and imaginative shows even in Las Vegas, from the ‘up close and personal’ cabaret in Eden to the Theatre shows. Dining : Cannot fault First night dined in Lumiere as we had a suite and although I did feel there could have been more of a choice on the menu what they did deliver was excellent. I had the filet mignon which did not disappoint Main dining room (4 to choose from) was more extensive and the service less intensive but still very good none the less. Can’t wait to sail on the next in the Edge series of ships. Just brilliant
