Turkey

Everyone seems to have been to Turkey! When our plans for a holiday to the U.S collapsed in 2020 due to covid, we looked for another destination to run away too and with most of world closing for business due to increasing covid cases, Turkey still remained open for travel so we went. we stayed in the beautiful resort of Olu Deniz, next to Fethiye and around 1 hour from Dalaman Airport. Olu Deniz is know for it's backdrop of lush mountains, it's calm and turquoise Lagoon at the right end of the main beach and for it's paragliders that come in thick and fast from the mountains and land by the beach. We had a great time here, and the highlight had to be the boat trip we took for the day that stopped and beautiful coves and beaches surrounded by clear, crystal blue and turquoise waters. The children loved diving off the boat and snorkeling wherever possible. Turkey certainly lived up to our expectations!
