Disneyland Paris my stay and hints and tips!
Disneyland Paris Hints and Tips
After being invited to the Superstars Celebration trip to Disneyland Paris it was a pleasure to visit December 2024, I wanted to give you some advice on how to help enjoy a truly unforgettable trip to Disney.
Where did I stay???
I stayed in the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel hotel and you need to head to the Marvel hero photo station for some fabulous family photos. The hotel is incredible and wonderful comfy beds and easy walk to the parks. Ask me about staying in this hotel.
Staying in a Disney hotel allows you to be close to the enchantment while also gaining extra magic time, which means you can visit the parks before they open.
Theme park passes are included; sometimes, when staying offsite and adding travel tickets, it is more cost effective to stay on site since these are included.
Before you travel, check the weather. It's usually a good idea to pack a small poncho so you can quickly retrieve it from your bag in the event of a shower. It's also much less expensive this way. For those, try Amazon. Bring comfortable clothing and shoes.
There are many water stations around the parks, so it's wonderful to bring refillable bottles.
Bring your own snacks, such as breadsticks, dried fruit, marshmallows or favourite crisps. To save down on expenses, have whatever your family's favourite snacks are.
To allow the children to dress up in the room and spare you a little cash, get children's costumes and Disney ears in advance. Many Disney clothing options are available at Primark for a fraction of the price of the on-site stores.
It's good buying glow sticks before you visit Disney because they're popular for the parades.
Photo Pass is incredibly simple to use; all you have to do is scan the code in the Disneyland app or present your pass to view the enchanted images within the app.
Use the app to reserve restaurants up to a year in advance of your trip, and make plans in advance to ensure that you are in the area where you want to eat. I can tell you more about plans and restaurant choices.
Pre-book character experiences in advance to avoid disappointment. We were lucky enough to have breakfast with the princess, and I think having one-on-one time with princesses indoors is fantastic. The meal is a minor aspect of the event, but the princess encounter is incredible.
Check parade times to ensure you don't miss out. If you wish to skip a parade, ride waits are typically shorter during parades.
Disney Premier access is a paid service that allows you to enjoy select attractions using a dedicated fast lane. Ideal for a shorter Disney stay to ensure you get to do all of the attractions. It certainly makes you feel like a VIP, even 1 day is a wonderful experience.
Don’t forget to get autograph books and a chunky pen for when the little ones meet the characters.
Save shopping until the last day, you’ll no doubt return home with more than you arrived with but remember your luggage restrictions.
When you book with me I’m here from the booking stage until you return home. I'm always here to ask any questions and any guests with any special requirements or disabilities, we can discuss your specific needs and I can offer advice on how to make the trip easier for you.
