Cruising the Med on Virgin Voyages!
My first ever cruise onboard Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady on their Greek Island Glow sailing – will I ever be able to top this?
We stayed in a Mid Ship Sea Terrace cabin which had a handmade hammock on the balcony. This was perfect for relaxing and watching the sunsets! The room including the bathroom was so spacious and had such a gorgeous modern design.
The food was just INSANE. There was something for everyone. The Galley had a mix of food stores from burgers, ramen, pastries, salads, sushi, paninis & sweet treats. They also had Asian-themed nights throughout the cruise to switch things up! One thing I particularly loved was there were no buffets on board Virgin Voyages, so the food was always so fresh! The specialty restaurants included show cooking Korean BBQ, Steak & Seafood, Mexican, Italian, Test Kitchen & American and were all included in the price!
We set sail from Athens and visited the beautiful ports of Santorini, Rhodes, Bodrum, and an overnight stay in Mykonos. We had one day at sea, during the sea day, there were lots of things to do to keep everyone entertained, such as sunbathing by the many pools, live bands, shows, comedians, casinos, scarlet night party, karaoke, eating whenever you want and so much more! I noticed that it didn’t even feel like a sea day as there was never an overcrowded area.
I honestly couldn't recommend Virgin Voyages enough! From the service, cleanliness, food, and destinations, Virgin is so great that we are already looking to book another one with them again! 5 stars from me!
