Windstar Round Britian Cruise

We were very lucky to have the opportunity to go on a round-UK cruise with the luxury all-suite, small ship cruise line, Windstar. This line offers a very personal service with great food. The informal entertainment had the highlight of your favourite crew member doing their party piece! Starting in the historic castled city of Edinburgh, we cruised around the top of Scotland, with its stunning scenery, stopping in the tranquil town of Oban, anchoring in the beautifully peaceful harbour. Then to Belfast for our second visit of the year. We happily returned to the Titanic museum to take more time to explore its fascinating story, and the same can be said of the Town Hall museum Next, on to Dublin’s fair city to explore, which was followed by an interesting visit to Fishguard with its quaint old harbour. Then on to one of the highlights - off to Tresco and the Isles of Scilly, spending the whole day exploring. And the crème de la creme was sailing up the Thames and under Tower Bridge, docking finally against HMS Belfast, with views of the Shard. A trip around the UK never to be forgotten.
