Rooftops and river cruises in Bangkok
Start in Bangkok, where you’ll be welcomed at the Banyan Tree, famed for its fabulous rooftop restaurant, Vertigo, and the adjacent Moon Bar. Enjoying a cocktail here as you absorb the panoramic views of the city skyline is a perfect way to start your trip.
From here, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the Chao Phraya River, and the same again to take the scenic boat ride up the river to explore the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, adorned with intricate gold details. Take a dinner cruise along the river, where the banks are alive with lights and the air is filled with the tantalising aroma of authentic Thai cuisine.

The 'Rose of the North'
Next, head to the gateway city of the North, Chiang Mai, surrounded by beautiful mountains, national parks, and nature reserves, and a centre of historical importance.
The serene Raya Heritage, set beside the Mekong River, offers an idyllic, design-led retreat, with Lanna-style architecture and minimalist interiors showcasing the craftsmanship of local artisans. Explore a fascinating trio of temples – the dazzling white Wat Rong Khun, the serene blues of the Blue Temple, and the bold, mysterious tones of the Black House. Each site offers a unique lens into the region’s artistic ingenuity and spiritual depth.

Beautiful beaches and Big Buddha
Phuket is the perfect destination for the first coastal stop of your getaway. Your stay at The Shore at Katathani offers private beachfront villas and calm, clear waters. Located in the peaceful Kata Noi area, it’s ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and enjoying peaceful surroundings. Nearby, visit Kata and Karon viewpoints or the Big Buddha.
Then, head one hour north to Khao Lak for a stay at an adults-only hideaway, The Sarojin. This boutique hotel with an award-winning holistic spa is set on beautiful Kukkak beach, beside the Andaman, and protected by the Pakarang Cape for year-round swimming. Charter the Lady Sarojin to explore the nearby National Parks, and scuba dive in the Similian or Surin islands.

The tented camp experience
Next, visit Elephant Hills, Thailand's first luxury tented camp in Khao Sok National Park, set amidst dense rainforest and limestone karsts. There are two camps, two hours apart: the main Elephant Camp, where you'll spend the first night of your tour; and Lake Camp, one of the world's only luxury floating tented camps, on peaceful Cheow Larn Lake. The spacious, safari-style glamping tents are refined yet rustic retreats, with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, and hammocks.
Trek through the ancient rainforest, take a speedboat to Takuapa's mangroves, or kayak along the calm Sok River, enjoying the sights and sounds of the jungle. The highlight is the respectful Elephant Experience at the camp's natural elephant park. No elephant rides here; instead, you'll spend a couple of hours preparing the food for rescued elephants and seeing them bathe in the mud pool.

Discover paradise: Krabi's hidden gems and luxury escapes
End your Thai adventure in the natural splendour of Krabi, home to the world-renowned Rayavadee. Set against the soaring limestone cliffs of a national park, this resort offers a front-row seat to some of Thailand’s most iconic landscapes, with villas set amid tropical gardens offering total privacy.
Dine at the atmospheric Grotto, one of Thailand's most famed restaurants, hidden underneath an ancient limestone cliff by the sea. Best yet are the beaches, including Railay, one of Thailand's finest, with limestone karsts and calm, clear waters. Wake to the gentle lapping of waves on the shore, kayak through hidden sea caves, and soak in the raw natural beauty of the Andaman coast. The perfect finale to a truly unforgettable trip.
