Discover the Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains has so much to explore if you can bear to leave your retreat. Discover quaint villages with excellent restaurants, cafes, galleries, and antique stores before heading to the Wentworth area. It’s the epicentre from which to explore the National Park’s most iconic natural beauty, starting out from the spectacular three-tiered Wentworth Falls.

At Echo Point, marvel at the Three Sisters, a legendary rock formation with golden hues at sunrise or sunset, with a deep significance to the Aboriginal Gundungurra people.

Nearby, Scenic World delivers thrills with the glass-floored Skyway gliding above the Jamison Valley and the world’s steepest railway descending into its ancient forest. Once there, enjoy Katoomba Falls views, the peaceful rainforest boardwalk, or tackle the Grand Canyon Track through a fern-filled canyon with towering sandstone walls and flowing creeks.

Harbour Lights

Next, stay three nights in Sydney, in an unrivalled location between The Rocks and Circular Quay, the vibrant heart of the waterfront full of cafés, boutiques, and street performers, where you can catch ferries to Manly and Watsons Bay. Set off on your private Sydney Harbour cruise, stopping at Balmoral for lunch at a renowned waterside restaurant. Enjoy a guided tour of Jorn Utzon’s Opera House – one of the greatest buildings of all time - and a breathtaking sunset BridgeClimb for 360 degree views of Sydney, the Opera House to the east, the Blue Mountains to the west and the Harbour City surrounds – both included.

Be sure to explore The Rocks Market, a bustling outdoor haven of creativity and one-of-a-kind finds, set against an 18th century backdrop of cobblestone cul-de-sacs and heritage buildings. There are scores of street food stalls here, too; The Gozleme Stall is a favourite.

Island Life

End your Australian escape at Hamilton Island - or ‘Hamo’ as it’s fondly known - where you’ll have five nights to unwind at the exclusive qualia resort. This tropical paradise is brimming with unforgettable experiences. Surrounded by the aquamarine waters of the Great Barrier Reef, the area is renowned for snorkelling or diving with the endemic marine life. A day on the stunning powder-white sands of Whitehaven Beach is a must-do, as is a scenic flight over the iconic Heart Reef. The island is car-free, too, which only adds to its charm, but exploring the island by golf buggy or chauffeurs is a joy. Your Travel Counsellor can even arrange for you to meet some cuddly koalas!
