Day 1: Anchorage, Alaska

Your adventure begins in Anchorage, where you’ll check into the prestigious Hotel Captain Cook. Take the day to explore the largest city in Alaska, known for its fine dining and dramatic mountain vistas.

Day 2-3: Wilderness Lodges

Board a scenic train transfer to the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, a true wilderness retreat near the Chulitna River. Take the time to enjoy your surroundings, participate in guided hikes, or simply relax on the expansive deck.  

Continue your journey to the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, where you can explore the rugged Denali National Park. Just a mile from the park entrance, the lodge overlooks the Nenana River and offers sweeping views into the park, making it the perfect place to unwind and take in the verdant landscape.  

Day 4: Whittier and Ship Embarkation

Travel by transfer to Whittier and step aboard Princess Cruises' Island Princess. Settle into your luxurious cabin with a balcony and prepare for the incredible journey ahead, as you sail through Alaska’s immense waterways.

Day 5: Hubbard Glacier - Scenic Cruising 

Sail past the towering Hubbard Glacier and watch as massive icebergs calve into the sea, a spectacle reserved for those who venture to this remote corner of the world. As you cruise by this natural wonder, take some time to enjoy the ship with a cooking demo, a dip in the hot tub, or take part in an activity class.

Day 6: Glacier Bay National Park - Scenic Cruising

Experience the pristine beauty of Glacier Bay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a day to savour the untouched wilderness from the comfort of your ship. After enjoying the glacier views, you can head to the Princess Theatre for a lavish original musical production, watch a movie poolside under the stars, or relax in a lounge sipping a cocktail while the live band plays.

Day 7: Skagway

Dock in Skagway, a historic Gold Rush town brimming with history. Wander by its colourful, wood-frame houses, visit the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, or indulge in a ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway. For a different way to see the city, guests can buy tickets for the Skagway Street Car City Tour with Storyteller, a delightful excursion that brings the town’s rich history to life through engaging stories and local insights.

Day 8: Juneau

Arrive in Alaska’s capital city, Juneau, where you can explore its glaciers, wildlife, and outdoor activities, or take a private excursion to the famous Mendenhall Glacier. For a unique perspective of the city, you can purchase a ticket for the Goldbelt Tram, which takes you to the top of Mount Roberts. From here, you’ll enjoy 360-degree views of the city, the surrounding mountains, and the sparkling waters below.

Day 9: Ketchikan

Discover the charm of Ketchikan, known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World'. Stroll along historic Creek Street, learn about Native Alaskan culture, or enjoy an exclusive fishing experience. Guests can purchase tickets to the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, an action-packed competition where world-class lumberjacks showcase their skills in axe throwing, log rolling, and a thrilling 50-foot tree climb.

Day 10: At Sea

Relax and enjoy the ship’s premium facilities as you sail toward Vancouver. In addition to soaking up the ocean views, treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa treatment (at an additional cost), try your luck at the casino, or attend the thrilling ‘Voice of the Ocean’ live show. Visit the art gallery to admire works on display, unwind in the freshwater pools and hot tubs, get active on the sports court with basketball, volleyball, or tennis, or work on your swing at the Princess Links putting course.

Day 11–13: Vancouver, Canada

Disembark in Vancouver and check into the luxurious Sutton Place Hotel for a two-night stay. On your first day, explore the city with a Vancouver hop-on, hop-off 24 or 48-hour sightseeing pass, allowing you to visit the sights, like Stanley Park or Granville Island, at your own pace. On your second day, take a guided tour of Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views, dramatic suspended walkways, and the natural beauty of Vancouver’s surrounding wilderness.
