Days 1–4: Cape Town
Your adventure begins in South Africa’s ‘Mother City’. Stroll along the V&A Waterfront, where you can explore and take in the lively atmosphere by the harbour. Take a ride up the Table Mountain cable car for sweeping views of the city, coast, and beyond.
For history enthusiasts, a visit to Robben Island offers a look at Nelson Mandela's life, while the District Six Museum provides poignant insight into South Africa’s wider past. When it’s time to unwind, Camps Bay Beach's pale sands are waiting.
Days 4-9: The Garden Route
From Cape Town, head to Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands. Hop on the Franschhoek Wine Tram and sip your way through some of the best wine estates in the region. Nature lovers can hike the trails at Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve for endless views of the horizon. On your way along the Garden Route, stop in Swellendam, one of South Africa's oldest towns. Continuing along the Garden Route, arrive in Plettenberg Bay, known as ‘Plett’ by locals.
