This year I am celebrating my 14th anniversary as a Travel Counsellor.
After 26 years of working for Thomas Cook I made the decision to start work as a Travel Counsellor. Working from home, running my own business and being able to connect more with my own clients was the main reason for starting work as a Travel Counsellor.
Over the 14 years I have gained many regular clients, who I class as friends. I enjoy booking their holidays, and hearing on their return what great times they have had.
I enjoy putting together complex itineraries to America, Canada and Australasia. With cruises, traditional holiday packages or tailor made trips my work is varied.
I organized my daughter's wedding which was held at St Paul’s Chapel near Lindos, the setting was beautiful and the weather very hot! If you are also thinking about getting married overseas just let me have the details and I can do the rest. I also specialise in planning your dream honeymoon, it is always great to be part of putting these special occasions together.
Also this year I have become a Hong Kong specialist, I am also completing the Australian Specialist course, which is something that is dear to me as I got married and lived in Australia for a few years, these experiences have been invaluable and help my customers when planning their holidays.

Janet Hoyland has always been efficient and friendly and always delivered our dream holidays. On one occasion we were stranded in America after a volcano erupted, Janet tracked us down to where we were staying to check if we were all ok and see if we needed anything, that amount of dedication to her clients and job is not seen very often these days.

To any person thinking of using Janet and Travel Counsellors, take my advice, do not hesitate contact her immediately. We have used Janet for many years and cannot praise her professionalism, friendliness and help enough. We like to holiday in North America, Canada and Alaska and like to go to some out of the way places as well as the big cities. We like the nice hotels and service in the city and will take what is available in the more remote areas. Janet has never let us down and has surprised us on many occasions. Take my advice, tell Janet what you want, where you want to go and then start packing, your holiday will be arranged down to the last detail with nothing left to chance and you will have the time of your life. Well done Janet, keep up the good work.

Janet has always been enthusiastically helpful in offering various options to assist in our requirements. She has proven to be willing to give that little extra, particularly when we were caught out by the volcanic ash flight disruption. A few quick phone calls and Janet had us booked on trains and in hotels which meant we had no hassle and were able to actually enjoy the extra 4 days travel.

WE NORMALLY GIVE JANET BRIEF DETAILS OF WHAT WE WANT FOR OUR HOLIDAY AND WITHIN A FEW DAYS SHE ALWAYS DELIVERS. SHE ALWAYS GIVES US SEVERAL CHOICES AND WILL TALK THROUGH THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE.
