It's Nice To Meet You

Hello my name is Kirsty and I am your Travel Counsellor based in Rawdon, Leeds.

I have lived in Leeds since 1999 with my fiancé, Rich, who works for British Airways. I grew up in Grimsby, where my parents, sister and most of my family and friends still live.

Before becoming a Travel Counsellor in 2005 I worked for a newspaper, Teletext Company and a television holiday channel. I now have over 25 years travel experience. During this time I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, the Caribbean, America, Canada and Asia so can impart my first-hand knowledge and independent advice to ensure my customers get the right holiday each and every time.

I am passionate about travel and particularly cruising which is my specialist area, along with Caribbean holidays.

The customer is at the heart of everything I do. I pride myself on offering a high level, personal service. I love getting to know and going the extra mile for my clients & many become friends. The biggest compliment is the amount of repeat clients and the number of recommendations that I receive.

Kirsty has been helping me find my perfect holidays for the last five years. It is alway service with a smile down the telephone and nothing is too much trouble. I travel a lot with two children on my own and if I am in any doubt she just rings the hotel. We first used Kirsty via a friend who suggested this way to book a holiday, since then (2 years ago) we have booked four holidays so far and a fifth is on its way! Kirsty has taken all the stress out of booking a holiday, everything is delivered to your door, nothing is too much trouble and the extra options Kirsty recommends really adds great value to the holidaying experience, turning a basic holiday into an adventure. Kirsty is always on hand to help on the end of a phone, even when we did have a little stutter on one of the holidays, Kirsty dealt with the hotel beautifully. I also challenge you to find the holiday at a better rate, especially with the service Kirsty gives everytime, you won't find a better way to enjoy your holiday!

Kirsty has personally booked all our holidays for the past six years. She has organised anything from city breaks, to cheap weeks in the sun and our honeymoon to Hong Kong and Bali. The personal touch is what I love. From little things like filling in the details on the luggage tags she sends us with our tickets, to the Christmas card or the little postcard we find when we arrive home hoping we’ve had a nice holiday. Kirsty books all our flights for us, checking prices and giving us options and also when needed, hotels and car hire. What a joy to simply ring her up, tell her what you want and wait for her to call you back (which she always does). Anyone who struggles to do it all themselves must be mad! She feels like a friend now and we always have a bit of a chat and we just know that we can trust her to sort out our sometimes quite complicated holiday arrangements. The two holidays I booked with Kirsty went without a hitch. Every detail large and small was taken care of. Kirsty booked Hotels and special places to see while we travelled through Australia all were spot on. Our Sri Lanka trip also went smoothly. I have used Kirsty for around 8 years and found her to be very helpful. I travel a lot both for business and pleasure and its good to know you can write an email/make a call with a request or give dates ,times or budgets and Kirsty will just make it all fit. I have had a couple of instancies where that personal relationship has been hugly beneficial. Stuck in China because an airline had gone bust and getting home, and getting my booking in early before the rest of the airlines hiked the prices - it proably saved me 800GBP. I also had a coat sent back from the Maldives that i inadvertently left there without charge. I am happy to recommend Kirsty and have done so to other friends and colleagues. If you travel alot it is worth a fortune to have a good TA behind you.

Kirsty is amazing! For my 50th birthday in January 2012, I gave her a basic brief on various places I wanted to go, what I wanted to do, the kind of holiday I expected and approximate figure to spend. She came back with some great ideas and even when I kept changing my mind, nothing was too much trouble; it's like having your own private travel agent at home. So when I'm sat on my deck on that fantastic Maldivian island, sipping champagne, I will raise a glass to Kirsty.
