It's Nice To Meet You
Hello and Welcome to my website.
I would like you to know a bit about me and why I am qualified to be your personal Travel Counsellor.
My background spans a few decades in travel and hotel management. Travel is my first true love, and I am passionate about the world we live in, its culture and its people. Nothing beats the experience of revisiting old favourites or discovering new destinations.
I’ve lived and worked in great places, including Sydney, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef (where I co-managed Orpheus Island Resort). I’ve also lived in Thredbo, a Ski Resort in Australia (yes, we have snow!), the beautiful Algarve in Portugal, and finally, in the UK where I have lived and worked for the past 20 years.
Let me help you to find your perfect holiday, anywhere in the World, whether relaxing on a beach for 2 weeks, sailing the Dalmation Coast, a 5 star luxury cruise, an adventurous holiday, honeymoon or milestone event.
You can also trust me with your conference and incentive enquiries, as I have a depth of experience in this field, together with strong relationships at venues around the world.
We can meet for a coffee, or arrange a skype call to go through your requirements – I would love to hear from you.
LET THE FUN BEGIN!

Wow factor - 100%. This was the best thing I've ever done, by miles. We arrived into Sydney and checked into The Westin on Martin Place, which is great hotel, in a really central location. We then walked down to Circular Quay, before heading over to take our allocated time slot for the now-famous 'Bridge Climb'. This bridge is iconic the world over, and the organisation of the climb is excellent. Everything ran like clockwork and we were lucky enough for the weather to be absolutely perfect. I am slightly afraid of heights, and the only point that gave me the wobbles was when we crossed from the midpoint of the arc, to return back to base. I made the mistake of looking down and I saw the water beneath the cars on the bridge! Yikes! To be honest, it's extremely safe and the feeling of exhilaration far outweighs anything else. This is a MUST DO for anyone travelling to the wonderful city of Sydney! We flew with Qantas, and I can highly recommend their service.

Pizza lovers rejoice, Brooklyn’s Pizza Tour in New York delves into the five boroughs of Brooklyn and their distinctive take on the perfect pizza. This four-and-a-half-hour trip spanning the history of pizza in the area was started by a local pizza fanatic. It continues today as a varied journey through the area’s famous sights depicted in iconic movies such as Goodfellas and Saturday Night Fever, punctuated by stops at two leading pizzerias to satiate your craving for one of the world’s most popular food creations.

I've been to this hotel on a few occasions, and it never disappoints. The location is a bit away from the main attractions of Venice, which makes this all the more appealing as it has a quiet, reserved feeling whilst still being close to the action by way of a free shuttle service. The shuttle boat arrives on a regular basis, taking guests across to the city centre. The rooftop pool is open from May until September, with stunning views across Venice. You can see the ships sailing by on their way to cruise the Adriatic and beyond. I've sailed into Venice on Silversea's Silver Spirit and also sailed out on another occasion, on board Spirit. It's magical!

TOP TEN TIPS for avoiding additional stress at your airport during peak travel times 1. Long Haul - get to the airport a minimum of 3.5 hours before and get yourself into that lounge 2. Short Haul - get to the airport a minimum of 2.5 hours before – lounge still an option 3. Check in online 24 hours prior to departure and print off your boarding passes 4. Set off from home earlier - no one can predict the traffic 5. Arrange parking for the Meet and Greet (nearest to the Airport Terminal) 6. Take plenty of snacks for the car journey and waiting for your flight and bottles of water for pre-security 7. Wear comfortable clothing. Belts, shoes and jewellery will all have to be removed at the Security Gate (not the clothes!) 8. Have toiletries (under 100ml) in a see through sandwich bag ready for the Security Gate 9. Parents, as long as you have the kids, passports, money, credit card, nothing else matters. Children pick up on your stress, if you cope, they will! 10. Book with a Travel Counsellor, we worry about all this so you don't have to!
