In Santa Bárbara de Pinto, you’ll see everyday skills on display, from rolling tobacco leaves to net making, both essential trades in riverside life. Later, back on the AmaMagdalena, a group of families from El Banco join the ship to share their music. This is the birthplace of cumbia, and you’ll hear the rhythms played live with traditional instruments while families tell stories about how the songs connect generations.
