As you sail through Svalbard’s icy fjords, the landscape changes around you at every turn. Massive glaciers, rugged cliffs, and snow-speckled mountains set the scene, and if you’re lucky, you might spot polar bears, walruses, or Arctic foxes along the way. Small boat trips and landings give you the chance to get right into the wilderness, walk across the tundra, and explore the shoreline.

Along the Svalbard coastline, you’ll visit small outposts like Ny-Ålesund, one of the world’s northernmost communities. Here, remnants of early mining towns and research stations tell stories of human resilience in extreme conditions.
