I was also lucky enough to experience Portobellos, Scenic Opal’s exclusive fine dining restaurant. This intimate venue offers a carefully curated tasting menu, celebrating regional cuisine paired with exquisite wines. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and incredible flavours made this a standout highlight of my cruise. Every meal on board felt like a special occasion, reinforcing just how unique and luxurious a Scenic cruise truly is. One of my personal highlights was sailing out of beautiful Budapest, watching the Hungarian Parliament, Fisherman's Bastion and other awesome sights pass by on the riverbank—a truly unforgettable moment. Another standout experience was exploring Bratislava with a local guide, who shared fascinating insights into the city's history and day-to-day life, ending with a chance to sample a delicious traditional Slovak treat.
