Vietnam is a country of Vibrant culture, Rich History , Stunning Landscapes , and fabulous people .On my recent trip to Vietnam , i explored bustling Cities , Serene Landscapes , Stunning coastlines. Come with me on my journey From Hanois Ancient charm and dynamic energy of Ho Chi Minh City . Hanoi -its the capital of Vietnam a city that blends colonial French influences but still with its traditional Vietnamese Culture. the old quarter Hoan Kiem Lake , and Temple of Literature, the street food is legendary pho Banh a noodle soup , and Banh Mi omg delicious The water puppet show , a cultural experience .The old quarter made you feel alive , chaotic traffic , thinking you will never make it across the road , you soon get used to it .The unique charm of locals . Halong Bay - wow a UNESCO World Heritage site , emerald water , limestones coming out of the water like beacons standing proud , we did Kayaking , i loved every moment of it , we were lucky enough to stay over night on a river cruise, we fished for shrimp off the back at night it was magical. Danang is known as the Golden Bridge held by giant hands and stunning beaches . Hoi An - Timeless charm UNESCO World Heritage site , well preserved architecture , vibrant lanterns and beautiful streets , i fell in love with Hoi An , i also went to the tailors and had custom made Trousers and waist coat made for less than £80 wow wow, wonderful Dresses all silk and linen amazing , there is a wonderful central market at night as well to visit , so much to do . its very romantic with its colourful lanterns and vibrant colours of Hoi Ans streets . Saigon City (Ho chi Minh City )the heartbeat of Vietnam ,motorbikes everywhere as owning a car is very expensive so everyone travels around by motorbike or push bike . Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica and i did go to the War Remnants Museum - i did struggle in places as we know from our point of view what happened but the Vietnamese suffered so much too . its not for everyone to see , but I'm pleased i did . city has a massive energy , a wonderful coffee culture , an egg coffee , fabulous , food is fabulous too and so cheap , all fresh , and for me as a vegetarian , wonderful . Its mix of modern and historical building seem to work . Mekong Delta was one of my highlights - you really did feel like you were somewhere very different ,small villages living along the rivers , we took a boat ride through the floating markets , they depend on the river for there livelihood. If you have never experienced a floating market its amazing as there is a charm about it . Conclusion Vietnam is a country that is so rich in History , stunning Landscapes ,Rich Culture , delicious food , the people are so happy to see you , they work very hard , no pensions so very often they work up until they are in there 90s , and you will see long thin houses and that's because all the generations in the family live together and they keep Building .
