I am proud to have owned my Travel Counsellor franchise for 17 years now.
Having studied Travel & Toursim at College I have had a varied and extensive career within the industry I love.
From P&O, Princess Cruises, Austravel, Australian Affair, Ebookers, Lasminute.com and Quest Travel I have predominately worked in senior management. I have loved the opportunites my roles have given me by allowing me to visit and explore some of the most beautiful destinations, both long and short haul.
As the names imply a number of these companies specialised in Tour Operating to Australasia where I was fortunate enough to visit many times each year including hosting numerous journalists taking them to far flung areas of these beautiful destinations.
Austravel saw me living in Manhattan whilst running the North American division of Austravel covering 15 locations including one in Canada.
Everything I arrange is bespoke. It does not matter if it's a detailed longhaul holiday or a short city break, it is always put together based on my individual customers needs and requirements, nothing is 'off the shelf' as our requirements are as unique as we are as people.
Given my industry experience I prefer not work with mainstream Tour Operators. By working directly with our contracted airlines, hotels, specialist suppliers and local operators I know you will be well looked after at every stage of your holiday. Ensuring you have the best experiences throughout is a priority to me.
Indeed the covid years have further reinforced my working practises as I have had to cancel and change so many holidays. This has been done with ease as I have been the one in control alongside the relevant service provider making it simple to obtain refunds or to amend. I am also backed up by an amazing 24/7 team .

Vicky Babbs our travel counselllor organised a family trip to Florida for us last year. It was a special trip to celebrate our joint 70th birthdays. Vicky was so knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip that we wanted. She organised flights at the best prices, found us fantastic accommodation and got us the best deals on park passes. We had everything organised and along with our children and grandchildren were ready to go last Easter. Then the Covid pandemic hit. The trip that Vicky had so painstakingly put together had to be cancelled. We had no way of knowing when we could fly to America again so reluctantly asked Vicky to organise refunds from all the different suppliers.
It was no easy task getting refunds from all the suppliers but Vicky managed this and we we did not lose a penny.
We would without reservation recommend Vicky and will be asking her to organise our next trip once travel returns to normal.

To book the absolutely perfect holiday contact Vicky Babbs - you just need to give her a list of your requirements and she will arrange everything, nothing is too much trouble and if you are not keen on the package offered then she will 'shop' again (even many times) to get you exactly what you want so that hotels/transfers/flight times and costings all come in on your budget. Vicky then gets all the paperwork printed and has even

We have used Vicky to organise our holidays and flights for the last four years, so I can easily recommend her!
Our first trip was a once in a lifetime holiday in Thailand, followed by a visit to family in Australia. Vicky gave us great advice and sourced all our (beautiful) hotels and arranged for all our transfers and visas so we didn't have to worry about anything (all our flight tickets arrived in a pack, with even our luggage tags all written and ready to go!) We had an amazing and relaxing break knowing everything was organised, and our experiences with Vicky since have been just as good - all with hassle free, excellent holiday arrangements!

I have been assisted by Vicky many times since I first used her services in 2009. She has helped me travel to many amazing places, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Vietnam, Peru, Italy to name only some of them.
She is really helpful and goes out of her way to get you the flights and hotels you want and she fits it all in within your dates and budget. If you have no idea of where you would like to stay you can always rely on her advice as she really does her research.
Previously I would spend hours searching the web trying to find places to stay and trying to match it to flights. Now I simply supply Vicky with the basic information and then she dies all the work!
To sum it up the service she provides is simply Brilliant!

We have been requesting Vicky's help with our holidays since late in 2015 when my daughter (who is herself very impressed with Vicky) was aware of how demanding our requirements for holiday destinations are and felt we would benefit from her services. She was right! So far this year Vicky has advised and helped to arrange a trip to the Grand Prix in Monaco and a wonderful fortnight in Menorca in the most amazing villa in a truly beautiful location. We have agreed that this was the most wonderful holiday we have ever had. She also arranged a weekend in Rome together with trips and tours which made the whole break a real treat. We are now in the process of asking her to help us with a Rhine River Cruise and an early summer holiday in Majorca. Vicky takes personal care to ensure that our needs are met. She goes out of her way to meet all our requirements and is quick to respond to any phone call or email we may send her. She is endlessly cheerful, patient.and very proactive. Vicky doesn't only find venues etc she pulls everything together for us and takes the grind and heartache out of doing all the arranging which turns the whole thing into a pleasure from start to finish. We couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Vicky has taken care of all of our vacation planning for several years now. Our demands are never particularly straight forward but Vicky is always able to deal with whatever we throw at her, from simple 3 or 4 night breaks to complicated multicentre adventures.

I have booked a number of holidays with Vicky over the years. There are numerous reasons why I book with her and always recommend her to family and friends. There's the important stuff like knowing you will get good value for money and will not pay over the odds to have someone make all of your arrangements for you and for someone that has access to certain hotel and airline rates that you won't always find. However it's all the little things that I enjoy booking with Vicky; being able to pick up the phone and chat through various options and get sound advice when I can't make my mind up (she is very patient!), not having to worry about transfers and multiple hotels and flight bookings and payments, receiving all your travel documents in the post in one very organised wallet, having your luggage labels sent to you already completed for your outward and inbound flights! I have used Vicky Babbs on a regular basis for the last six years. My daughter and my sister have also used her services. We have always been delighted with the service we have received. Vicky is extremely capable at finding you what you want, whether it’s a sunshine holiday or a trip to New York.
Our most recent booking was April this year. We had a week in Lanzarote with two friends. Vicky offered us lots of choices of accommodation, booked our flights and our transfers. Everything was excellent, the accommodation was exceptional and flights and transfers were on time and there were no problems with our holiday. We had a lovely holiday and we felt confident that if a problem did arrive that Vicky would fix it! Our friends were very impressed with Vicky as well. Vicky has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the world and has managed to put together some very exciting and keenly priced trips over the last few years for me. What is there to say about Vicky other than amazing!
When we look for what we want in our holidays I only have to call Vicky, mention a place and the rest is done. Vicky takes the time to get to know her clients, she knows what will work for them and what is not going to work. She guides you with her expertise, her knowledge and always comes up with the most beautiful resorts you could ever wish for.
Asking Vicky to find you the perfect place to spend your time together takes away all the stresses of getting it right. We know from the moment we arrive at the departure airport the to the point we arrive home again... it will run just perfectly with the most beautiful resort, amazing transfers and excellent service with great prices.
There is always a special touch in the holiday somewhere... Vicky always sees to that!

My husband and I would highly recommend using Vicky as a Travel Consultant. She has booked and arranged two recent family holidays for us and both times she has gone far beyond what we considered to be the normal ‘good service’. We have used Vicky to book our last few holidays after being recommended by a friend.
Our holiday to Mexico last year was disrupted by the Volcano eruption and Vicky proved invaluable with re-arranging it for a later date. I'm certain that if we had booked a holiday through another company it would not have been sorted out straight away, like Vicky managed and we may have perhaps lost out.
The venues that we have booked have been fantastic and the little details such as private transfers and Vicky's first hand knowledge of the areas have made the holidays just that little bit more special. I have no hesitation in recommending Vicky for a fantastic holiday!
