As I retained the coveted Gold Status for Travel Counsellors (among the most successful in the company) we were taken to Cancun. Cancun itself is lively and commercialized but go a little further to Isla Mujeres (45 mins boat ride) and it’s like another world, un-spoilt and quiet. Cancun must have the bluest sea I have ever seen (and I have been to some amazing beaches), it’s like a lagoon.
