This was my first time working with Daragh Hanafin and it won’t be the last! I used to love planning our family holidays but now that I’m busier with work and other things I don’t have the time to pour over the details. This is where Daragh came in and took all that hassle away. He found us a really fantastic villa, near the coast in northern Croatia which was absolutely perfect. Our hire car and flights were also booked and organised by him and it made the whole process so much easier for me. Thanks Daragh, you did a fantastic job and you saved me so much time! Where do I start with Daragh Hanafin… from the start he went above and beyond to find the perfect holiday package for my family. Changing things to suit us better and being completely understanding of our circumstances. We have two daughters with complex medical and physical needs, which didn’t faze him at all! Working with us and the airline for a very smooth ride from start to finish. Any question, query or worry I had was answered quickly and didn’t make me feel like I was being a nuisance. I felt in very safe hands. Then when our flights were cancelled ten days before our flight, first thoughts would be absolute panic however in knew it would be ok, as I had Daragh and he jumped into action and sorted it within 24 hours!!! Do yourself a favour and get a travel counsellor - get Daragh! You just never know what’s going to happen. I cannot recommend him enough and will be booking any future holidays with him. Unbelievable honeymoon in the Phillipines Daragh Hanafin was our TC representative and he created such an unforgettable honeymoon experience in the Phillipines, including all experiences we wanted to see, great flight schedules and accommodation, well within our budget expectations. We would be lost without Daragh, and for all long haul travel moving forward, we will be using Daragh at TC. He made sure we were advised at all times during the planning and made us feel excited the whole way through. He put us in touch with the Phillipines Ground-support team and checked in with us throughout the trip. We felt so supported. The islands we explored were El Nido, Coron, Puerto Princessa and Balabac. We were there over Christmas and new years and Daragh had all of our plans sorted for the key days. A perfect family trip to Amsterdam… We booked our family trip to Amsterdam with Daragh Hanafin and it was just a perfect experience. Daragh took the time to chat through our needs and wants for our trip - what really mattered to us and what didn’t so much. He pulled together an itinerary that balanced free time and enough great sights and activities that meant we felt we got a really thorough and diverse experience of Amsterdam without feeling exhausted. It even pleased two teenage boys (tough crowd)! Everything from our accommodation to our bookings, tours and tickets were spot on and seamless. And bless him he was even keeping an eye on the flight schedules in case Storm Benjamin delayed our flight home (we were lucky and got home on schedule!) The app meant all the tickets and info we needed were on hand and easy to access. Daragh checked in with us before we left to make sure we had everything we needed and when we got back to see how it went. All in all we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you Daragh!

We have just arrived back from the most amazing safari and beach adventure in Tanzania. We decided to book the trip with Daragh Hanafin – Travel Counsellor, as we wanted to make sure everything ran smoothly, get the best advice on what to do and where to go and have the security of someone to contact, should there be any issues. I can certainly say, we were not disappointed! From our first chat with Daragh, we knew we had come to the right person. He was full of knowledge, patience and enthusiasm. We gave him a bucket list and he came back with an itinerary that we could never have imagined possible. After a few tweaks to meet our timescale and budget, we were ready to go. There was a great payment plan, which suited us perfectly. Daragh kept us up to date with everything we needed to know in order to prepare for our journey. He was on hand to answer any questions and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The communication with Daragh was excellent. And then came the trip itself. Well…. we were completely blown away with the whole experience! Words cannot describe how wonderful it all was. Everything ran like clockwork - the transfers, pick-ups, guides, staff, accommodation, food. There were a few challenges along the way, as you would expect when you are out in the bush, especially with the road conditions (i.e. a couple of punctures) but our guides were proficient at getting us back on the road as quickly as possible. Although we were incredibly well looked after, we still felt like intrepid explorers, able to experience the real Africa and not just a fake, sanitized, tourist show. Daragh pulled out all the stops, and more (with a few surprises) to give us the holiday of a lifetime! Thank you Daragh and the team from Tent With A View. Daragh Hanafin asked us what we wanted from our holiday and he delivered on every aspect of it. He took time to consider all the things we had asked for and checked everything through with us. Bali: 40th birthday trip We booked a 40th birthday trip to Bali through Daragh Hanafin. He was excellent! Went above and beyond to ensure everything was well handled, nothing was too much trouble, he answered all our questions and was genuinely friendly and caring too. We felt really looked after by Daragh. He selected two great hotels (one of which is the best we’ve ever stayed at!) and one fantastic excursion - which we enjoyed very much. His attention to detail was great and as first timers travelling ‘luxury’; Daragh has ensured the bar has been raised for future trips! Highly recommended.

I met Daragh Hanafin via my local business networking group at the beginning of the year and I instantly connected with him! It is my 25th wedding anniversary this year, so when my husband suggested we go on a special holiday I knew just the man to plan it for us. We had a loose plan of what we wanted to do and a budget, so I contacted Daragh and after a 30 minute call with him, we left him to do all the planning. Within a week Daragh had put together a detailed itinerary, with some very good suggestions. Due to our trip being in multiple locations, he suggested rest days so we were not too exhausted to enjoy our time and worked out the right amount of time at each location. In such a short period of time since knowing Daragh, he had picked up on my tastes and chose hotels that he thought I would like - which were perfect! Daragh arranged a wonderful week’s break for us which exceeded our expectations. Two nights in Seville in a wonderful boutique hotel along with a booked tour and a flamenco show. Then onto a relaxing hotel in Conil. Everything went so smoothly with flights and transfers & both hotels were absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend Daragh who kept in contact before, during and after our holiday.

Daragh Hanafin: The Ultimate Holiday Guru Daragh Hanafin was given a very vague brief of helping organise our first ever family holiday to accommodate 13 people, three generations ranging from age 76 to 4 months old! Daragh took the brief and presented us with the most amazing, first class, Greek Odyssey in Rhodes. From the initial phone enquiry to the post holiday debrief Daragh had every detail covered. I had never booked with an agent before but for such a big group I found security in Daraghs knowledge and understanding in what our family wanted from this holiday. Everything was amazing. We recently worked with Daragh to book a very complex last minute trip to America. In only a couple of days he helped to book flights, cars & hotels for a trip to 5 states in 1 week. The trip wouldn't have happened without him! Daragh was a delight to work with, answering our many questions and even checking in on us during / after the trip. We are just home from an absolutely wonderful ten days in Saint Lucia. Daragh was pivotal in organising our trip taking away all the stress and anxiety. Daragh, It has been a couple of weeks now since our dream holiday skiing ended but the memories are still fresh and wonderful. Everything was perfect, from the arrival in France with the transfer car waiting for us and delivering us to the truly outstanding accommodation where we spent 1 luxurious week surrounded by beautiful French Apls, with amazing restaurants and facilities. During our first meeting with Daragh he spent time with myself and my husband to find out about our previous travel experiences and what we enjoyed. He made a few destination suggestions and then came back a week or so later with some amazing ideas.
