Regent Splendor - Ultra All Inclusive

So fortunate to experience the brand new Regent Seven Seas ship (new Splendor). Very luxurious and a beautiful ship. 55,000 tones / 750 passengers and 542 crew If you don’t know Regent Seven Seas is the most inclusive cruise you will find. 'Ultra' all inclusive*- all balcony / suites and including Shore excursions, premium drinks, wi-fi, speciality dining, flights, transfers and more - you name it! The only charges are for spa treatments, casino and shop purchases….. Butler Service also on Penthouse Suites and above. I was certainly impressed. For anyone who books suites on other cruise lines / luxury holidays it is definitely worth taking a look at when you work out how much you spend on excursions, drinks and all the extras it is very good value. For my trip, a small group of Travel Counsellors sailed from Ancona to Rome (Civitavecchia) stopping in the lovely Dubrovnik. Splendor is the sister ship to Explorer so both ships are very similar. Beautiful, contemporary décor with the most amazing artwork on board – it was like an art gallery in itself. All suite accommodation with balcony, spacious cabins and oversized marble bathrooms. The highest grade being the out or this world Regent Suite. 2 bedrooms and 4000 square feet in size, with its own self playing Grand piano, private spa including hot stone bed and gym equipment! Awsome. Even with all this luxury the atmosphere on board was one of ‘subtle luxury' or 'relaxed elegance'. Very spacious and unobtrusive service. 3 main dining areas Compass Rose, Pool Grill, La Veranda which becomes Sette Mari in the evening. The other 3 restaurants that require pre-booking (no charge) include Chartreuse (French) Prime Seven (Steak) and Pacific Rim (Eastern). Or, dine in your suite at no extra charge. Entertainment on board – do as much as you want with the dancing, shows and casino in the evening and usual quizzes, talks and films in the day. What more can I say?
