Day 2 On The Ambassador Ambition

Day 2 – Onboard Ambassador Ambition Up early to check a few customers in and then concentrate on day 2 onboard the Ambassador Ambition.

An early start meant a visit to the gym and like everything else so far, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s spacious, modern, and far better equipped than I expected. After a good workout, I wandered through to the spa and treatment area. Again, absolutely superb. It’s a clean, peaceful space, with a sauna and a relaxation room that overlooks the ocean—what a view! The best part? It’s all included in the price, which is a real bonus.

After breakfast, we had a meeting with Lou and Jade from Ambassador. Both have been absolutely amazing. Their passion for the brand is so genuine, and their knowledge shines through. It was great to see them mentoring Laura, who is new to Ambassador. You can already see the personal touch coming through in how she interacts. What really stood out was seeing all three of them engaging with paying guests many of whom recognised them. That kind of approachability and involvement makes a big difference.

In the afternoon, I decided to put my “murder documentary head” on and head to the theatre for the murder mystery show. Shock horror—I got it wrong! But it was so much fun. The production was great, and from a travel agent’s perspective, it was brilliant to see how much the passengers enjoyed it. We’ve all been on cruises where interactive shows can feel a bit cringey, but this absolutely wasn’t one of those. The audience was fully engaged and loving it, which was fantastic to witness.

Dinner tonight was in the Holyrood restaurant and i have to say was even better than saffron, a great choice and although i skipped the starter the roast beef was as good as i've had on any other cruise and the baked alaska was unreal , my best meal on here easily

Another great day and i think the phrase i keep on using is pleasantly suprised

Tomorrow i'll share my final thoughts on the whole experience and share all the photos and videos, there's plenty
