The service she provided was fantastic - from the first meeting to understand what we were looking for, to researching the best options to suit our style and family, to making sure all the details of the trip were in place and even hand delivering the documents before we went! My Travel Counsellor Julie Gumbs looked after me and my family from start to finish. She was able to help me plan a trip which was going to be a holiday of a lifetime, making suggestions and giving me the confidence to try different locations. The speed at which she was able to pull together an itinerary from our limited input was amazing. I felt so reassured by Julie's guidance that I had every confidence that this was going to be an amazing trip. Julie was excellent at keeping us up to date prior to departure. Making sure that we had the necessary entry requirements and had the most up to date information on travel. The travel pack which included all hotel bookings, transfer and flights details were organised in the order I would need to access them and still worked despite a couple of delays. During one particular delay on an internal flight, Julie contacted me and then was able to forewarn the accommodation and transfer of our late arrival. I was so reassured by her input that I didn't feel stressed by the delay. In summary we had the most fantastic holiday and a large part of that was due to Julie Gumbs input. I am extremely grateful for her help and will definitely be using her services again when we plan another big holiday.

I am a nightmare when it comes to holidays as I wouldn't say I like searching and finding the best deal or sorting all the finer details out, so knowing that the wonderful Julie was on hand to sort all this out for our family was a huge weight off my shoulders. She was attentive to what we wanted and found us the best deal. Having 3 kids we needed to make sure what we had booked would suit them and we were getting the best deal for our money. Julie had it all stored straight away and was on hand for every step of the process - making sure we had everything we needed, it was a really personal approach she took. Everything from my millions of questions about what paperwork I needed to make sure we had copies of our boarding passes (which she delivered to us in person along with some sweets for the kids) She checked in on our day of travel and also when we returned - it was so nice to have such a friendly and personal service! Planes, trains, automobiles, boats, jet skis!!! The perfect holiday break for us hard working types? Then look no further than booking your holiday with Julie Gumbs Travel Counsellors Last year I gave the choice of holiday for this summer to my eldest son before he ups and offs to university! His brief was “Canadian cities - the more the better”. I added in “a place to chill in the middle” My record with big hols is fraught with mistakes so I handed the whole thing over to Julie Gumbs Julie spent a long time coming up with the perfect itinerary, taking the brief, playing with options, checking in at every stage. Once booked Julie also advised on visas and hidden costs and every time Air Canada changed their flight times (frequently!) she changed the hire cars/transfers/arrival times. Months later Air Canada cancelled our return and reduced the length of our holiday by a day! We decided to extend it instead and Julie was there again with all the extra planning. Result! Montreal, Quebec, Fredericton, Prince Edward Island, Toronto & Niagara on the Lake. I highly recommend returning to the idea that experts should book our well earned holidays and I honestly could not have asked for more personal attention than I received from Julie. Add in all documents printed and delivered prior to the holiday and the app for continued access to the plans and you have the perfect plan for those well earned breaks.
