I became a Travel Counsellor in 2023 when I started a new chapter in my career after 40 years in hospitality and tourism. I am currently based in Silsoe, in Central Bedfordshire, having moved back from Antigua in the Eastern Caribbean where I had been living for the past 20 years with my family.
During my career, I have worked in Europe, the United States, and Africa, before moving to the Caribbean gaining extensive experience in the hospitality field, a journey that has taken me to 57 countries so far with hopefully more to be added to the list. It is now time to share this knowledge and passion with others.
I could consider myself a Caribbean specialist having spent time in most of the islands of the Eastern Caribbean. I believe that the Caribbean is a place that offers something for everyone and I can provide advice to anyone looking to explore this region from helping to plan a dream vacation, to creating custom itineraries tailored to your specific needs and budget.
However, I would not like to think of myself as only selling the Caribbean and can help you put together a bespoke vacation in many other destinations. I have travelled extensively in the US and Canada in recent years from LA to Boston and Las Vegas to Florida as well as across the border into Canada. There are a lot of great places to visit on this side of the Atlantic which I know also very well having lived and worked in France and Belgium. In France I had the privilege of working at the ultra-luxury Hotel Le Bristol in Paris for eight years and was part of the opening team of Euro Disney as it was know back then, in 1992.
