I just adore Spain, which I think started from my childhood from the fabulous family holidays we had but then I went on to study Spanish at School, College and then University where I spent each summer working a full season in the gorgeous sunshine. I've been creating memories for people for over 45 years. I am based in Crawley, near Gatwick airport. It is a fantastic location for me, being able to travel into London City, to Brighton for a day by the sea or even hop on a plane to check out a new destination. I live with my partner who works in the hospitality trade and our three young children, twin boys and a girl, who all keep me on my toes.My background started in the hotel sector before getting the travel bug. My Dad was a tour operator and an excellent holiday planner! We travelled all over the Middle East, the UK, USA and Europe. Every destination brought unforgettable memories. My own travel highlights include hiking through the desert in the middle of the night to the Dead Sea for the sunrise (and then promptly falling asleep on a rock) exploring the spectacular caves of Frasassi, joining a walk and music evening in Petra, partaking in a Cretan sheep shearing fiesta (complete with copious amounts of meat, wine and improvised music) celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, tasting my way through the markets of Nablus, Istanbul and Japan, watching my clients Baptisms in the River Jordan and walking the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem.
