I became a Travel Counsellor in 2023 when I started a new chapter in my career after 40 years in hospitality and tourism. I am currently based in Silsoe, in Central Bedfordshire, having moved back from Antigua in the Eastern Caribbean where I had been living for the past 20 years with my family. Welcome! My name is Hannah, I love to travel and I love to help you travel too!Since a young age, I have been fortunate to travel many places and experience many different holiday types. My passion and love for travel is now apparent in my children and we are always planning and discussing our next get away. In the last few years, we have been lucky enough to have some amazing trips, in particular Lapland, Iceland, African Safari Adventure and our first taste of Asia. This summer we enjoyed some time in Devon and our annual trip to France. If you know me, you’ll know every year I say it’s the last and then off we go again! Secretly, we actually love it! It’s easy as we travel by ferry and even Lenny our Lab comes along! This year we went to Normandy for the first week and then travelled down to the Loire Valley for our second week. We’ve been to both areas before; Normandy is rich in its history and very interesting with the beaches and museums. The Loire Valley, renowned for its Chateaux’s, beautiful scenery and Rose Wine is a favourite of ours. Our Italian Adventure in October which saw us exploring Pisa, Florence, Lucca, and Siena and then a train down to Rome. We had an amazing time, fabulous food and locals and was great to fit so much in.This year we have Thailand to look forward to, we are visiting the North this time, rich in culture and traditions we're hoping to see another side of Thailand. Then in the summer the girls and I are off on our first cruise around Scandinavia! I've enjoyed visiting many cruise ships over the last couple of years and did cruise many moons ago but so much has changed, we are very much looking forward to it.I absolutely love hearing from you and helping you create wonderful memories. My name is Georgina & I am from Hornchurch in Essex.I started exploring the world at a very young age, I was very fortunate to have great holidays with my parents. Growing up I mainly went to Europe & as I got older was able to explore further afield. My experience in the travel industry is far-reaching having worked for over 16 years for a leading luxury UK tour operator and prior to that, two years at a successful independent travel agent. My travel highlights have included travelling to Venice on board the Orient Express, swimming with dolphins in Bermuda, sailing the Norwegian fjords, sampling afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, arriving in Monaco by helicopter and marvelling at a performance of Cinderella at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg. We’ve got this far then, and you’re probably thinking why me? Not in the unexpected-item-in-the-bagging-area-for-the-fourth-time-kinda way, but in the who-is-this-woman-who’s-made-me-a-fake-coffee-and-rambled-on-about-holidays-for-three-paragraphs-kinda-way. I’m Beth (Hi!) Without giving too much away, I started my career in travel back when everyone thought Let Loose were the new NKOTB. Travel makes me me, and I’ve visited dozens of countries across five continents. Bluntly it’s an obsession I bore my husband with every evening. So if it can’t be me experiencing what it’s like to peer over the grand canyon, or feel the bounce of the seaplane skimming the azure that surrounds my paradise Maldivian island then I’ll do all in my power to make it feel for you like it did for me.
