The Loire Valley, renowned for its Chateaux’s, beautiful scenery and Rose Wine is a favourite of ours. Our Italian Adventure in October which saw us exploring Pisa, Florence, Lucca, and Siena and then a train down to Rome. We had an amazing time, fabulous food and locals and was great to fit so much in.This year we have Thailand to look forward to, we are visiting the North this time, rich in culture and traditions we're hoping to see another side of Thailand. Then in the summer the girls and I are off on our first cruise around Scandinavia! My experience in the travel industry is far-reaching having worked for over 16 years for a leading luxury UK tour operator and prior to that, two years at a successful independent travel agent. My travel highlights have included travelling to Venice on board the Orient Express, swimming with dolphins in Bermuda, sailing the Norwegian fjords, sampling afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, arriving in Monaco by helicopter and marvelling at a performance of Cinderella at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg. My travel inspiration started from a young age when I lived in the south of France and East Germany for a year as part of my language degree.
