I will always favour New York as it was there that my husband proposed on top of the Empire State Building on a Valentines night. I would love to go back to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Hawaii as my husband hasn’t been and I have spoken so much about it that I have sold it to him! Although on our wish list is to travel the famous Route 66 in a convertible Mustang. I have visited many cruise lines along the way and have been on a Caribbean Cruise and visited the beautiful Islands of Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, St Kitts, St John, St Lucia, St Marten and St Thomas. I Loved the Caribbean that much I have been back to Barbados and St Lucia for holidays and not forgetting Cancun in Mexico. My journey in travel began in 1988 as a YTS trainee at just 17. In September 2000, I became a Travel Counsellor, and I’ve been dedicated to this amazing role for 24 years – which coincides with Travel Counsellors' 30th anniversary. I started in travel over 12 years ago with British Airways. In 1996 I moved from reservations to the BA Travel Shop in Glasgow. There I stayed until impending redundancy this July when all the units were closed.
