I have crossed 80 degrees north in the Arctic and seen a blue whale, snorkelled on the Great Barrier Reef, surfed in Hawaii, practised yoga on the beach in Bali, stayed in a traditional ryokan at Mount Fuji, travelled on the Orient Express from Bangkok to Singapore, and taken the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Banff.
