I moved to Dubai in 2011, with my Husband, to follow our dreams of living abroad. Our son was born in Dubai 8 years ago and has also developed a passion for travel, going on his first cruise around the Mediterranean in 2019. I had a break from working in the travel industry to have my son, however, prior to that, I worked in the industry for 10 years, in various roles from Leisure to Corporate travel. I also studied an AVCE in Travel and Tourism and have lived in Germany as a child and explored Germany and other countries close by, I feel this set me on the path to having the travel bug.I went on to study German at university and lived there whilst studying. When I finished my studies, I took a year out to go backpacking around Australia and Asia. Whilst working for an international airline my Husband and I travelled to over 26 countries and over 100 cities. Travel really is my passion, and I have been lucky enough to enjoy all sorts of holidays from backpacking around Australia, to cruising the Mediterranean, to a safari in Kenya on the Masai Mara and even attending a friend’s wedding in Las Vegas. More recently we have taken up skiing as a Family. My son learnt to ski on the sunny slopes of Dubal Mall's indoor ski area, so he developed a passion for skiing. Since then, we have travelled to Azerbaijan and most recently New Jersey for ski holidays. During the pandemic we were limited in terms of travel, however we managed to experience lots of amazing staycations in Dubai. Since then, we have travelled to the Maldives, Mauritius and Ski Lanka, as well as enjoying the ski trips. My daughter Ellie now lives there pursuing her career as a midwife.
