Travel has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. My own adventures began at the age of four, with magical family holidays to Orlando and journeys across US states such as Georgia and Texas. As I grew older, travel became even more ingrained in my world especially when I was fortunate enough to explore incredible places like Colorado, New York City and Australia during work trips. Now, as a busy mum of two wonderful children, I want to make the most of every school holiday and long weekend, creating treasured memories for us all. With most of my career spent in technology sales, I’m genuinely delighted to bring that experience to my work as a Travel Counsellor. Welcome to Travel Counsellors and thanks for visiting my page.I’m based in Tonbridge, Kent and I absolutely love travel, however, I can fully appreciate that booking your holiday can be time consuming, frustrating, stressful and the choice can be overwhelming; which is where I come in.My travel has taken me all over the world, with the most recent trip being a week in Sri Lanka. Last year I had a fabulous two-month tour of Japan, New Zealand and French Polynesia. Other favourite destinations in the last few years have been Antarctica (yes, it was amazing!), Costa Rica, Singapore and the Seychelles. I have had the privilege of spending a year in Australia and three months travelling in South America, visiting Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador (including the Galapagos) and Colombia. I combined backpacking with five-star hotels, trekked to Machu Picchu and boated down the Amazon - incredible experiences that will stay with me forever. I try to learn a few words everywhere I go and love to experiment with the local food, although being vegetarian, that has sometimes been slightly disastrous (especially in Japan!)I put my knowledge and experience into planning your perfect trip – whether that’s a weekend away in the UK, to a week in the sun, to the trip of a lifetime; let me take care of it to get it tailored just for you. Hi, I’m Becky, your personal Travel Counsellor.I’m based in Walkern, Hertfordshire, where I live with my husband, daughter and our dog. Travel and fitness are my biggest passions, and I love nothing more than combining the two: think sunrise hikes, mountain summits, and active adventures balanced with a touch of luxury and relaxation.I also love a challenge, especially when it means raising money for causes close to my heart. In September 2025 I completed a summit of Mount Toubkal in Morocco in support of Reuben’s Retreat, and this year I have signed up for a midnight marathon in April to raise funds for our local hospice in Letchworth. These experiences reflect how I travel too: with purpose, determination and a big dose of heart.Recent travels have taken me from husky sledding through snowy forests in Finland and exploring the cities of Sweden and Paris, to soaking up the sun in Turkey, Ibiza and Crete, and setting sail on a Disney cruise to Belgium. I’ve also hosted a group trip to Morocco, hiked the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, and summited Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. It was such a highlight that I am planning to host another group trip there again.
