I’ve watched the sun rise over Table Mountain, sink beneath the horizon in the Aegean and stay above it all night in the Svalbard Archipelago. I’ve slept in a mountain hut on the edge of an Icelandic glacier and a staffed villa on a coconut plantation in the Dominican Republic.
