A gap year desire to travel became three years of living and working in various far-flung places, but I found I was always working for small tour companies, at hotels and once even on a yacht around Madagascar!My desire to travel and work within this industry lead me first to leisure and tailor-made trips. I'm originally from Sheffield, and married with two daughters. I have experience of European beaches, especially those throughout Spain, the Canaries and Turkey. I've cruised Mexico, the West Med and Adriatic. I have been skiing in Canada, visiting Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise and Vancouver. I have travelled through Italy by rail - visiting Venice, Florence and Rome - and driven the Amalfi Coast ,Sorrento, an absolute must! I have also been to many of the Caribbean islands. Even a Sound of Music bicycle tour in Salzburg, essential for any film fan. In February this year i was lucky enough to visit India, travelling through northern India to see Shimla, Dharamshala, and the ceremony of the guards between India and Pakistan. We flew down to Jaipur, then onto Ranthambore to see the Tigers then onto the beautiful Taj Mahal. This year brings a few lovely trips , Lake Garda, River cruise along the Rhine, Malta , Vienna and Zurich...with an overnight train, this will be interesting. I love football, and have supported Sheffield United for many years, unfortunately relegated this season, lets see what the 24/25 season brings. Bramall Lane is my second home. My bucket list included Hong Kong which I visited eight years ago. It was fabulous and lived up to my expectations.
